Personality: An exceptional Pokémon trainer, Asami is a rebel, a protector, and would do anything to keep Ori safe. Her approach towards training has been consistent, as she sees her Pokémon as an extension of herself, and knows that to change anything in this strange and dangerous world, you need close bonds backing you up. While Asami hasn’t ever competed for Pokémon Gym Badges, she is nonetheless a potent trainer who would do well in any Gym circuit. Despite not telling Orion, her ambitions involve becoming powerful enough to face their enemies, and ultimately, to take revenge, permanently.
History: When Asami was dragged into the trouble that Orion was in, she did the heavy lifting. Between her and her Pokémon, she fought a number of mysterious agents who were hunting a blue Mew. Despite her efforts, she and Ori were both orphaned in the process. While they saved Pasta and the mysterious blue Mew, they have nothing left and now run and hide from their pursuers. Going to the Holosseum tournament will buy her some time while she makes a plan.
Other info: Asami would die for Ori. Her Pokémon are particularly well trained and they have killed for her. She holds a Charizardite Y stone for Skybreak. Despite her broody attitude, she has the heart of a true warrior.

Battle style: Qualia is fiercely protective of Asami and will keep by her side, or move her away from trouble she doesn’t want to be in. When forced to fight, Qualia can undo the mind of her foes with devastating psychic assaults.
Other info: Like many girls growing up, Asami’s first Pokémon was an Eevee. Now evolved into Espeon, Qualia is a powerful psychic.

Nature: Spooky-helpful

Moves: Dark Pulse, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball
Battle style: Trained in many forms of esoteric skills, Malady brings down Asami’s foes with dark influences, often devouring Asami’s enemy’s thoughts from the inside out.
Other info: When Asami was a kid, her nightmares were terrible. Attracted to the dark thoughts plaguing her dreams, a little Ghastly began haunting her. Over time, Asami’s dreams cleared, having been eaten by Malady who evolved into Haunter once Asami’s nightmares stopped. The two now share a close bond.

Nature: Enlightened
Hold Item: Shell Bell
Moves: Heal Pulse, Drain Punch, Close Combat, Meteor Mash
Battle style: Hoshi is incredibly good at hand to hand combat. Their strikes seem to sap the strength of their enemy and only increase Hoshi’s power with each blow, as if Hoshi can give and take life force itself.
Other info: When Asami still ran with a gang during her “troubled teens”, their focus was on fighting rivals. Hoshi was trained in the heat of underground combat.

Moves: Fly, Roar, Flame Blitz, Shadow Claw
Battle style: Skybreak, when finally driven to violence, makes sure it’s final. Asami rarely calls on Skybreak to fight, but when she does, something usually dies.
Other info: Asami rescued Skybreak from drowning. For this, Skybreak is utterly loyal to Asami.
