HEY! You should really Read this to understand the picture better:

Hmmmm.....We'll be sitting here all day if I go into EVERY detail concerning the background of this Alternate Universe Picture. So I'll just talk of the important parts.

This is an Alternate Universe for Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. That sweet little video game that I love dearly.

Anyhoo...at the Top is Billy Hatcher, but at the bottom is an alter ego of his known as Billy Raptor. I named him that due to his slight Raptor appearance (Chickens are related to Raptors you know...)

Anyway, here's the story in short so far. The Crows also decided to enslave Chickens into effective servants for Dark Raven as well as making eternal night. Dark Corvo invents something called Raptorazation. Yes, yes I know. There something called Robotizaion in one of the Sonic Comics. I don't read them (Honestly, I probably never will), and please don't wig out...

Corvo traps a few chickens and turns them into Raptor/ Chicken crossbreeds. Some with really weak wills or if they're just really unlucky, will turn into FULL raptors. The raptors and hybrids are nuts to a degree but are for the most part obedient to the crows. They use the raptors to not only harass other chickens and serve the crows, but are also sent to kill the Chicken Elders. They are successful in killing all but one. This is a long story....

Raptorazation also works on humans. Chick was already ambushed and turned Raptor by Dark Corvo at Pirates Island while helping Billy. Billy is later taken to be raptorized at Blizzard Castle. The Chicken Elder Ponee is then spared for a short time in return.

In short, Billy is painfully turned into Billy Raptor. Now Raptor actually isn't evil, but at first he will seem like it. After all, he was just born and is a slave to his hunger and instincts. However, Billy Hatcher starts to guide him subconsciously. Raptor will feel when Hatcher disapproves of something and eventually the two are able to speak to each other in thought. Leading Raptor to betray the Crows.

I'll be making a separate picture for Billy Raptor later on, so I'll get into more detail then. So tired....

But the picture took over a week to get started You See, originally, I was gonna draw Billy Raptor alone. But I didn't want to confuse people, so I drew Billy Hatcher in as well. I'll be honest, I didn't want too... but I pressed on. I've improved on shading a lot as well. (I had to teach myself how to do shading ) I find it more noticeable on Billy Hatcher, I don't know about you though.

Billy Raptor went under about 5 or 6 different color designs before I settled for this one. I started the color/photoshop process at 5 in the day. I was trying to finish before midnight, I manged to do so with 20 minutes to spare.

The background took the longest, because I didn't quite have an idea to begin with. The background was originally going to be just metal. But I sat with a sky for Billy Hatcher and Water for Billy Raptor. Both using effects from the Filter Gallery so its very hard to tell. I added a sun and moon for the whole day and night concept. (again, messing with the filter gallery)
