Hi from Spain. I'm Director of an orchid's magazine under the name of "Orchidarium". I'm also the curator of the Orchidarium in Estepona (MΓ‘laga-Spain), so I often organize workshops, conferences, etc. That's why I'm always looking for fine art about orchids, and your work is certainly awesome. well, with colored pencils it was delicate touches that got me through the petals somewhat successfully. thanks for the comment!

I just attempted an orchid in pastel, think I will go to prismacolors too. This is so simple from afar thumbnail view, and still so wonderfully detailed up close. Very very nice!

yeah, it's hard to beat prismacolor i think. i tried pastels for the first time recently and pretty much sucked at it.

hey there, i know it took a while but prints are available now if you're still interested. take a look at it first, i took away the border and text, better that way i think. image was 27 mb so it should be really good quality.

that's a beautiful orchid. i think i used to have one of this kind but it could have been different. you must go through a box of pencils a month-- keep it up, your pictures are wonderful1
