Looks very much like an abstract combo of a futuristic and fantasy world-like cityscape in vibrant colors. Amazing, dude!

Really great work dude The three times I've ever watercolored, I've always done the watercolors first and then the pencil afterwards to add the stronger contrasts. I think you did an excellent job and fully encourage you to try this again
I need to leave more comments on your beautiful work.

good stuff. You should try using your abstract style to make some actual objects, i can definately see a few trying to get out on this. The style would be very suited to fantasy landscapes i reckon.

that's cool, i may try that sometime. you're not the first to mention that, it's just hard for me to commit to drawing something recognizable, i'll give a a shot one of these days.

simply amazing.
The first thing I thought of when I looked at this was Yellowstone National Park...it's reminiscent of all the various vistas and sites that may be seen there....I see the mountains, the lake, the geyser basin, the hot spring pools, the terraces, the canyons, the meadows, and the forests. The heavy use of warmer colors throughout it makes me think of its firey past, in being an explosive cauldera....and the intermittent cool colors bring it all full-circle to the present.
Wonderful piece!

man. this is righteous!
i really dig that bottom half.
i keep thinking i see little shapes intermingled with all that beautiful color and shapes.
do you have any idea beforehand what you plan to do when you get started on something like this?
any kind of rough sketch? do you use any reference material? other than what few memories you
have of your last acid trip that is,...heh.
i'm working on some abstract textures myself. you, along with a few others have really pushed me
in that direction of late. i may submit one, and i'd really like your opinion if i do.
nice work!

I think it is even more surreal and beautiful this way. Much more soft, more blended... it's ungraspable, like the substance of dreams! It's definitely a favorite.

I like it, but if it is a background what would you put in front of it? Doesn't need anything, in my opinion.
