Fear was a taboo.
The days backed red clay into our hides...
But that was endurance.
Courage is nothing...
Nothing to laugh at.
Not if it is proper courage.
"Grace under pressure, that is how you recognize a brave man"
Hemingway would say....
Grace under pressure in insufficient...
easy to affect grace, hard to see it through.
Baked red clay into our hides.
Which way to freedom,
Which way home?
Proper courage is wise courage.
Acting wisely when fear would have
a man act other wise.
Endurance of the soul.

Yeah, I was introduced to it through my English class... First Nightmare and Vision and then in Lit. and Comp. I think I've writen about three so far... I like them, but I don't think I would write a lot of them... Only if I really really liked a book and I got some deep seaded meaning from them... I think I might write one out of Tuesdays With Morrie soon... I just ifnished it...
