Description
i was infatuated with all things giant and robotic from a very young age, so when transformers came along in 1984, this fourth grader's mind nearly imploded. countless adventures that centered around a battered bumblebee's quest to rid my backyard of starscream once and for all would serve to spark my imagination for a lifetime. i feel very fortunate to once again be able to play in a universe that inspired me so many years ago.(these prints were released as separate posters through acidfree gallery . they have since sold out.)

Why is it that everyone and their mother can make awesome Transformers stuff except the one guy who essentially owns the franchise and lords over it's every spinoff?

I don't know what more to say other than I love it! The way you've rendered the characters draws both the original show to mind as well as the somewhat blocky nostalgic feeling of the early toys. There is excellent flow in this piece, the 'v' shape created by having both of the posters really puts the struggle between Optimus and Megatron in focus, one of the other things I enjoyed was the use of Starscream's wing and Jazz's doorwing to continue the design despite it being interrupted by the standing forms of Bumblebee and Soundwave. It's a real shame that these are sold out, they'd certainly make a hit with my family!

Love the symmetry but sad by the lack off ironhide and ratchet. I guess no one likes them, although I feel they featured a lot in the cartoon more than the brothers. Also wasn't Laserbeak Megatrons favorite soldier... You gonna be a wizard world?
