Original intro used for this episode:
There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space, and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we callΒ The Twilight Zone.
And yeah. Time enough at last. A good episode. And not Burgess Meredith's only episode neither.

Tom, this rules. I can't tell, but is his monocle broken or cracked? Based on the TZ ep, that would be a cool added detail.

Maybe Bookworm would have been more appropriate?
I'm ashamed that I even know that character.

Eeeek! I love this! Two of my favorite 60s era TV shows! Remember when the penguin was inside that bank safe so he rob it? And then there was a huge atomic blast that killed everyone in the world? And the Peguin came out of the vault and went back to his hideout and his henchmen were all dead? And he didn't know if he wanted to go on living? And then he went out and saw the library and thought he could read lots of books on crime, penguins and top hats, but then he dropped his monocle and it broke and he said: "Waaaaaaaaaack! Waaaack Wack wack wack! Curses!"!!!!!!!! And then the episode ended, but in part two he had Batman and Robin inside giant snow cones? That was so cool!
