Hi - sorry for late reply.
Place the texture on top of your image as a separate layer.
Then try different blending settings: overlay, multiply, hard light tend to work well.
Also you might consider applying a layer mask and diminishing the amount of the effect in certain areas.

Hmm... there is one thing it doesn't mention, that I want to know. Do I need to put your name on the image somewhere, saying you're the texture author, or do I just need to mention it when I submit it here? It's a MySpace layout that hopefully will be produced in flash soon.
Either way, I do intend to put your name in the discription of it, when I submit it here. But if I have to put your name on the image itself, I'll have to shrink it pretty small, otherwise it'll take away from the look itself. I'm already featuring a few things on it, that have peoples names on it, I try to blend names in well, so they go with the project I'm creating.
