Description
This is my my final (currentlyEverything is set up. She now has good facial expressions, her hair flows better, and I can now get her clothed and be the basis of all the other chars. They will all be less involved - Frizz had to be the most advanced, as she'll be the lead, and most expressive.
Now for some Blender Specifics: Done in Blender 2.75. She's fully pose-able from head to toe. I used the Pitchipoy Rigify addon, because it has more levels of adjustment than the original Rigify. However, all the expressions are shape keys. I fought a bit trying to get the facial bones in the rig to work, but they just don't give the smoothness that a face like this needs. So I turned off all the deform properties of the facial bones, and used the adjustment bones to instead control the shape keys. The hair has a TON of bones, but I targeted them to copy rotations of a couple controller bones, so it's easy to pose.
I made it this big to get on my phone right

I am looking at all your new models and WOW! What particularly impresses me is the natural, HD-style lighting! Unlike that weird, cold, doughy look models usually seem to have this looks bright, warm and natural in color! The way the shadows play across her face here is pure gold.
And jeez, Frizz's manicure and pedicure are way better than mine!Β Is that a little girly aspect of her there?

Thanks - it is my goal to make create the anime artwork the best create, though I create it through an entirely different method.
And yep, she's all girl, even though she's a hard-working, hay-bale-throwing, bully-flipping, enemy-beating machine.Β

Thanks so much Cat! Now I've got to figure out what She's going to wear (apart from her battle suite, I've got that all planned). You got any experience with 1940's outfits?
I also have Spaz done, I can't wait to post her this weekend.

In addition, if you put in a google search on 40s fashion, you'll get plenty of results

Hmmm... 40's. Best thing to do is google some movies from the 40's with Betty Davis in it. Or movies like, "Dark Victory," "The Letter" "Stolen Life
What I remember for women are beautiful suits with skirts right above the calf, wearing fox or mink boas, real cute hats, pumps, A-line dresses and coats, hair curled under and shoulder length. And for men are hats/Fedora with double breasted suit and full pants. Hope the links below work.

Ohhhh, she's doll-baby cute!
I love how she's sitting like that with a sweet, peaceful smile on her face. And her hair flowing gives a peaceful and breezy feel. Ahhh, sooo Kawaii!
