Selena: From The High Command of Outer Guardian, 12th Slayer's Division, Commander Verity De'Lice confers to you, Lindsey the Monkey and Nina the Tanooki your very own CROSS. *Selena said, as she pulled out of her pocket two small little rectangular devices akin to a flip phone, both of them embossed with a golden crest of folded angel wings underneath a halo surrounded by olive branches.* Welcome to the Slayer cooperation, girls. *the fennec grinned*
Alrighty! You guys have seen stuff for this over the last few days. This is a project between myself and another artist that stemmed from a rp. Anyway here is the story.
On a vacation to Yamato (Sonic Universe version of Japan) with Stryke and Shard, Lindsey and Nina are intertwined with a mysterious girl named Selena. They learn that Selena is demon slayer, tasked with protecting the world from demonic forces that try to attack and destroy it. After helping Selena narrowly escape a vicious battle against a demon and realizing that these creatures are infused with dark energy, Lindsey requests to join Selena and Nina is recruited soon after. From there, the girls decide to name themselves Team Moonslayer and work to fend off the darkness and save the world.

It's supposed to be a reference to Selena's ties with the moon and the fact that all three of them are Slayers, well Sel is a Slayer, Lin and Nina Slayerettes are Slayers in training.
