I guess it’s under the bisexual umbrella, but I’m not bisexual. I’m not attracted to both sexes, and I don’t normally get crushes on the same gender, but there has been two separate occasions where I have become infatuated with someone of the same gender. It wasn’t because I planned to date them, but just found them very cute. I’m too afraid to identify as heteroflexible because of the many, many misinformed people who just assume it’s the same thing as bisexual, and as such they try to invalidate me for existing. Thus, I identify as heterosexual in public. Sexuality as a whole is a spectrum, and heteroflexible is what I’m comfortable with calling myself. As for my interpretation of what heteroflexible means, it’s either a 1 or 2 on the Kinsey Scale, or “straight but shit happens”.
If you refuse to give heteroflexibility a label, that’s okay. However, just know that if gray-asexuals/romantics and demi-sexuals/romantics exist, then certainly heteroflexibilty can’t be that hard of a concept to grasp.

Yes, in a way its technically bi, but some people don't like using the term "bi" and they'd rather use heteroflexible, as they find it suits them more. I'm not going to argue about it, but just kind of clearing it up.

coming from a heteroflexible person, I define it as basically bisexual/pansexual but you tend to have more crushes or attraction to people of the opposite sex (I'm a gorl, so for me it's mainly being attracted to boys but sometimes girls)
