Description Flower and Ink

Failing petals, mottled pink,
Dying from their death black drink.
Oily substance, dripping loss,
Down the stem but twice across.

Deathbed lilies, grey as dross,
Protruding from the blood red moss.
Floral vitalities slowly abate,
Causing fear, despair and hate.

Ink black blot, atrocious bane,
Beckons death to come again.
Bed of roses, wane and wink,
Failing petals, mottled pink.

OMG I think I would LOVE Anne Rice's Books I keep glimpsing them here or there but can actually get a hold of any I really wish I could find some Vampire type stuff because I've read/saw next to nothing.

I like the constant collision of colours in this, and the imagery. Also the thought on how flowers can cause so much emotion in people. I like it a lot x
