This is astounding. One of those pictures I could look at for hours, and find something new every time. Right now, I can work out a general theme for this. The bursts of watercolor appear to be explosions, along with the smoke on the cheek and neck. In the smoke appears to be an airplane, diving downwards, possibly crashing. The eyebrows look like helicopters or guns, so sticking with the war-like theme, the crack in the face could be a division line between enemy territories, like a trench line... Aaaugh, it's so fascinating!

Ah thanks for the lovely comment. I hadn't originally thought about a plane crashing into the face but I'm definitely gona fit that into a future painting! Nice one! Think I'm gona toy with this formula of biro and watercolour more.
