It's great that you can ignore everyone else's attacks, but when your system of solving problems involves doing your best to not get hit, it may be a bit redundant...The first panel kinda makes it look like Youmu is the one Sparking, but she's not- she's actually punching the laser. Because why not?

OBJECTION! bosses get hit several times and dont lose as a result, so maybe youmu's just the boss/midboss in this situation.
that being said, what about shields? would that still technically count as being hit?

A friend and I once discussed this, and we decided that the boss health meters aren't really health at all. It's how lucky they are- how long until they twitch and run into a bullet, or their finger slips off the arrow keys, something like that. Like Nathan Drake in Uncharted.
And of course, this would be a more formal duel, as opposed to the slug-fests of the fighting games that I usually depict in my comics.
Shields, it's hard to say- I'd say that setting one up would be akin to bombing out in game- using one of your own spellcards. Again, this would be in a more formal duel.
