Posting because bruno said toThis is my first fully digital drawing, no pencils used as I'm trying to get used to the whole tablet thing.
The V-Twin Circular saw transport has been stuck in my head for ages. I did a sketch of it last year but never finished it. I got stuck on another drawing and started this one and i was able to get it done. More of an unusal transport device rather than a product to slaughter beings with. I know it shouldn't work as that would just cut into the ground and offer nothing for grip, but I liked the idea of charging down streets, carving a line in the road at ridicolus speeds (and buildings in this case).
Should be getting back into more skecthing once i clear my work stack. buhhh it never seems to end

Yeap that is what he drives on! Just throw on the passenger skid plate and you're set, and he did get in trouble with it in a previous pic :]

There is no way the V-Twin circular saw would EVER work as a vehicle and that's why I love it! I mean how could you even steer that thing?? Wouldn't the blade wear out? Were the hell does the rider sit? Wouldn't it be a rough ride with no suspension? Gah! it's driving me nuts! That's why I love it!

The only why I could think of steering it is a combo of leaning and twisting it so the blade would snap to the side that can happen with circular saws :S
Pretty much a random cartoony thing, but he doesn't sit on it, there is a metal plate on the back to put on foot on and the handle on the top extends down the side for the other foot and would act like suspension in some way. Plus skateboards have no suspension and that ride is tolerable :U

I've got to say, I love the idea of a saw as transport. And, you know, it's really a weight issue thing. I've seen some circular saws fly out of peoples hands and book across a table or two. If he were to attach wheels to the back of the slide board, and balance all his weight back there, giving the front juuuust enough weight to dig in a bit, it just might work. Kind of sort of.

its just a fun concept that wouldn't really work as grip would be zero once it cuts into the ground. You would get a bit of grip if it was blunt, but not enough to get some speed up like in the pic :]

if you look towards the bottom of the saw, you will see there blade infront of his legs with the blade gurad covering the other half. Cheers :]

You've got an awesome style and sense of detail that I really evny (and want o_o)
I've been needing to start using a tablet. I've actually been coloring all my pics with the mouse since day 1. An all digital drawing seems like a whole new scape since you gotta get used to the way it flows but you've seem to have the hang of it! I liek the way you did his sunglasses, it's simple but it just looks damn cook. I love the gritty look on this pic too. Anyhow its an awesome pic. Great work. And just out of curiosity, how long did it take to draw the engine?

I used to be a mouse whore like everyone else until last year I obtained one and I'm still getting used to it now. But I've been a bit slack with drawing the past few months. Sould be doing another pic with the saw soon too.
uhh the motor was done during the sketch a few tries, but months before when I orginally had the idea I was looking at a whole bunch of two stroke engines to get the gist of how they looked and worked for refference material. but the research definitly helped speed things up.
