Description
I really wasn't looking to do anything with this panorama other than to show the landscape. I only adjusted the levels and curves. No other things went into this. This is the part right in the very beginning of the Nightfall mission where you assassinate the elite. I kind of imagine the elite looking at the scenery going, "Ooohhh, pretty."
I did this pic right after getting the challenge for the getting 40 headshots with the sniper on that mission.
41" x 17.5" full size.
Some of the screenshots I used to make this are located here: [link]

Sweet. I just have one question. How do you get the bulging outward effect you get in the middle of this screenshot? I looks like everything in the middle is closer than the rest of the screenshot.

The reason for the bulge is due to the how the screenshots stitched together for this panorama. Similar to the Elevator panorama, but not as extreme.

Oh, so it's not which perspective of stitching you used, right? You used Photoshop to stitch your shots, right? Cause I do, and whenever I'm about to stitch em together, it gives me the option to choose which form of stitching I want to use.

I use Microsoft ICE and Photoshop to stitch together. I actually prefer ICE's method of stitching, which also gives the ability to upload to photosynth.net

Hmm, never heard of this ICE.

It's super-easy to use, except it only works on Windows computers. Boo for no Mac version. But yeah for having a PC and MAC.

Photoshop-wise, it is the spherical setting for the automated photomerge.

Here, look at this. This is that scene, but it gives it some perspective. Think Google Earth... not a 360ΒΊ view though. But still enjoyable. [link]

Brightening everything up really brings out the colors. Thanks.

What screen size do you have? I can change it for you, or you can really.. Just a simple crop.

Actually it's perfect the way it is for my screen. ^_^

Than that's even better. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Your the first person I've talked to that has used a pic I made a background (besides myself and my GF)
