"I just needed a quick test, so I can let you out now..."Roxy hesitated, hand over the off button. This may just be the few martinis she had beforehand, but Kanaya really does look gorgeous, especially all shiny and stiff like that.
One little peck on the cheek couldn't hurt, could it?
She approached the frozen form of Kanaya, and stretched her face up to place a quick kiss on the jadeblood's cheek. She had to reach a little further than she thought, though, Kanaya's pretty tall... Almost... there...
Roxy must have had more alcohol than she thought, as she suddenly lost her balance and stumbled, planting a foot directly on the still-activated platform.
That's not good, she had just enough time to think before the platform's ensnaring nature took hold of her as well, freezing her in place.
Now Kanaya and Roxy were both stuck on the platform, with no one to turn it off. They'd probably be stuck there for quite a while... Even worse, Roxy didn't even get to get her kiss!
