"Like This?" Kanaya asked as she put her hand on her chest."Yea yea, tha's perfect!" Roxy replied as she steadied her camera.
Roxy had asked Kanaya to be her photography subject, and while Kanaya had never pegged Roxy as a photographer before, but she is always willing to help a friend pursue a new endeavour. Bit of an odd place for a photoshoot, though. Looks more like a laboratory than a studio. At least this platform Roxy had her stand on had good lighting.
"Ok, now don't move, and 3... 2... 1!"
At that final number, instead of taking a picture, Roxy instead whirled around and pressed a button on the console behind her. At once, Kanaya heard an electrical hum. When she went to ask Roxy what happened, she found that her body wouldn't listen to her commands. She couldn't move a muscle!
"Did it work? Kanaya? YES, it totally worked! Sorry Kanaya, I really needed your help to test this new gadget I found in some old storage place. It projects a bubble or shell or somethin over whoever's on it, completely freezin em! Isn't it so cool!"
Yes, It Is Very Cool, Now Let Me Out Of Here, Kanaya said in her own head, to no one in particular.
