Description
The modern script for the standard dialect of Fúsekh, a relative (obviously) of Thussaf, but this script is derived from a completely different source: the modern Thussaf script evolved from logograms, while this was adapted by the prophet Dazhehev from the Bakhúlúl script, which in turn derived from Meqoltod (both of which I mean to post eventually). This script was used historically in the ñaho of Ikema, where Dazhehev's followers settled, while in the three Fúsophone kingdoms of Amemwingeb, Oiúgú and Zhlomailo, where Dazhehev was condemned as a heretic, the vernacular language of the people continued to be written in the Bakhúlúl script, if at all.Zhlomailo adopted this script in the year 100 (by the orthodox Black calendar) when it constituted as a ñaho after the first war of independence, and Amemwingeb and Oiúgú followed suit in 175 after the second.
The con-script fragment I posted months ago is written in this, so now you can sound it out even if you still don't know what it means.
I tried to give this script a resemblance to Syriac, and still have not learned to write it with the elegance it deserves. As you can see from the tiny sample, the letters are intended to connect, and I should have connected the /a/ and /x/ letters, but oh well.
Hand-cut quill, India ink; and pencil for the IPA characters.

Thanks! Yes, a conlang can take a lot of time. I used a random generator for the roots (Langmaker; you can download it at [link] ), but there are still all the sound changes, grammar rules and various adjustments. I still don't have a really complete grammar: every time I do a translation it seems I have to add or refine rules, not to mention making up or reassigning morphemes that I didn't program into Langmaker.
As for my setting in general, I've been working on that for 11+ years. So yeah, these things do take time.

Your world sounds interesting and the scripts look great! I'm also creating my own fantasy world, but inventing words takes a lot of time...
