its basically someone makes a fur designΒ of a cat, wolf, etc. Then they sell the design for a price, thenΒ the person can use that design for what ever they want, comics, original characters, etc. Basically when someone buys one then they own the design and creature they bought, or its like you adopted an animal from a pet store.
