Oh, nice inspiration!  That's an intense facial expression, it conveys a lot of despair.  I like the sword detail.

This is a great drawing you did from that pose. One can feel the devastation and hopelessness of the woman. (and I still haven't read the Silmarillion, though I bought it years ago ...)

Thank you so much! You really should pick it up, but be warned, it is not a "sit down and read through" kind of book, it's like reading the Bible, it's chronology is all over the place and can be hard to follow.

I hope there comes a time when I have time to read big books again. In my former job I had 3-4 hours a day by train to get to work and back home. During that time I read volumes. But nowadays I work at home and with the kids and the obsession to do drawing challenges ( ) I seldomly find the time to just sit down and read.
