This time it's Caterpie, Weedle and Pidgey~!! The original bugs and the regional bird of the region~!!Caterpie and Weedle are now more based on the larval stages of their line. Caterpie us a stylized caterpillar of the "Black-veined White" butterfly, on which Butterfree is based .w.!!
Weedle is a Honeybee larva, but with a big horn on its head to tie in with Beedrill's needles!!
Pidgey was the hardest to redesign, mostly because of Pidove and not wanting to just clone that. I had to plan out the larger theme of the line, and eventually got to a carrier pigeon, with a bit of an envelope pattern .w.!!
Wanted to post this last Saturday, but I was really exhausted because of the con I attended .w.;; oh well, next Pokémon will be a big one .w.!!
