Description break away from the past
today will soon be yesterday
don't dwell on what was, but what is
will be

shed the old skin
let go of forgotten days
let go of all they held
the good, the bad
or all fading memories turn back to dust
(of which they all were formed)

become a new self
shed the old forgotten wings
of yesterdays angel
(those that were fallen, thus forgotten)
fly away
from yourself
and become
new

I like this very much. The title was a nice choice and it flowed from start to end really nicely. Maybe a few two many new lines towards the end - was there a specific reason for that? - but the brackets were great additions to the poem. My favourite line was this one: those that were fallen, thus forgotten because it seemed to fit perfectly as an afterthought on what you were writing about.
