Very cool work~! So how is it using watercolors on wood?

thank you! It's fun, I think. I lightly sanded the wood first, drew my image in pencil, then burned it in with a soldering iron. I used cheap tubed watercolours to paint over it, not the cake plates that you get in elementary school. I didn't know how to use watercolours at the time, so I treated it like watered down acrylic paint. I would mix the colors out of the tube then put them on the wood. And that's why there's a lot of color in some places, but then less in other places. It's a lot of fun, though, I think. :/ I wouldn't waste good watercolours on it, though... now that I've learned how to use them and how freaking expensive they are. haha

No problem! Ah that's very interesting! Thats funny I learned watercolors first so when I use acrylic I try to make it more watery Haha well I think it came out great! And yeah paints can get kinda pricey

thank you! I do, too. I had lightly sanded the wood before painting on it, which cause the streaking texture in the wood. It worried me in the very beginning, but I ended up liking it a lot.
