Spotted this RX8 yesterday and captured it with my phone.Mazda's RX series of cars use the rotary Wankel engine first seen in their A110 Cosmo in the 1960s. (Rotary eXperimental)
The RX8 is a small car with a 1.3 litre engine but despite the small displacement the unique engine design gives a lot of output, revving to over 9000 RPM! As such they can be driven quite fast on a circuit while sounding unassuming.

The Audi's pretty nice, but it's HUGE. Now he thinks he should've gotten an A5, but I personally think he should've just kept the RX8.
