This is Ashleene Scamander, an OC commission for AdorkablePandas. In this story Ashleene is the daughter of Newt and Tina Scamander. This image was a ton of fun to work on. I was given a bunch of great refs of period specific clothing which is always a blast to work from. Ashleene is from House Hufflepuff hence the yellows and greys in her outfit. I knew I wanted the image to be dynamic and magical so I asked Adorkable what sort of magic Ashleene would be casting and they said the "levitation charm". As you know this doesn't have any sort of visual "magical" manifestations or glows. So I knew in order to accomplish this I needed to have a bunch of objects floating around. It was the twitch chat's idea to stick a niffler in there and I am so glad they said that because I love that little guy so much haha! ⁠⁠
