Excited to share the Mortal Kombat inspired commission I just finished for a member of the discord of her and her dog Sky! When I was younger, I played one of the Mortal Kombat games, can’t remember which one, but it had been years since the last time I played one. Last year I started playing a bit of the new MK11 and loved it. Some parts of this character’s design are inspired pretty heavily by Netherrealm’s awesome characters in the new game, with the most obvious influence being scorpion, of course! Scorpion has always been one of those iconic and recognizable characters in the franchise and it was a lot of fun doing research on the character and seeing all the awesome work that’s been put into bringing him to life.⁠⠀
