Making some holiday animations with the black kitty cat.
Im probably making this a recurring character in my art so are there any name suggestions for this 'lil fella write them in the comments! Anyway I'm trying to push myself a bit more in animation and get into the "acting" aspect of these shorts. My goal is to make my animations more real with subtle movements like in this case how the cat is exploring the new snow and showing a bit of attitude in every movement. Thats why I made him do a little tail twitch and just carefully sniffing out stuff around him. Hopefully ill be able to finish the painting after the weekend soo keep an eye out for more posts! ;D

Thank you soo much for the constructive feedback. Yes one of my main focus when i am making any sort of animation is getting the expressions right, as alot of my cartoons that i adore are very expressive like Ren and Stimpy where how they move is everything in storytelling. Though i feel that in my animations i still tend to be a bit "stiff" and I am trying to push myself to break out of my comfort zone and try to be even more expressive without overdooing it.
