Thanks for the tutorial, I have to make a bunch of duel disks real soon and It'll come in handy as hell! It's a great basis 
I'll be making mine in other materials tho... I'm either going to do it in plastic card/k-line or I'll just do it in cardboard and apply resin to make it sturdier and give a better finish

That is Misty from YiGiOh 5D's. She used to be a fashion model but nearly died in a car accident. She was saved, but at the cost of turning into a Dark Signer (bad guy).
She's not very popular, but my sis cosplayed as her last year!

It was pretty fun, but the disk was so heavy she couldn't wear it the whole time! I reduced the layers of cardboard in this tutorial
