Boy Inkling hat from Splatoon! I modifiedΒ this Β do-rag template and bought a rasta bracelet from ebay. Lots of help from my mom sewing this! Thanks so much ;_;Also this is the first photo of myself uploaded here. You can see my ear.

sorry for the late reply! Sorry, I probably won't put up a tutorial. Honestly the youtube link you have looks way better than my hat. But I can offer some tips.
I used a medium-heavy knit fabric. It's difficult to sew a stretchy fabric, so watch out for elastics. idk about satin. Inklings have shiny "hair" so it might look better!

hmm, i might work on another gun (Luna Blaster) and film while making it. I'm not really an expert with the papercraft and craft foam. It may be better to get advice from someone more qualified
