Description
Ok, first half of the map! For the seas names be patient! It isn't finished! is just to let you see the progress and because give me a great idea.
As you can see is only half, but there are a lot of nations, the idea was to "adopt" some of those. The name is already set, but you can choose which flag hoisting, what is their form of government, and so on and MAYBE could appear in the story that I'm planning (stories, to be precise). The only thing I ask is to follow these restrictions:
-The world is a mixture of modern/cyberpunk tecnology and some of medieval aspects (the results of progress from the Middle Ages to the Information age in less than 300 years)("Cybermedievalpunk", how say a my friend), so try to be consistent.
-There are a multitude of races in the world, from those typical fantasy-like alien, but always humanoid (already set).
-The magic isn't well seen in this world, and who are gifted with magical powers is belived to be a mutant or a freaks of nature and are often considered to be very dangerous.
-Religion is divided into polytheists, monotheists, atheists, rationalists and pagans (still on work).
-The flag shouldn't be of an existing nation or a modification of these.
-If you want to define the culture, architectural style, etc., be inspired to Europe (from medieval period to today).
-It's world like ours, with wars, racism, political intrigue, corruption, sexism... so have fun!
-Send your ideas with notes.
About the Federation and the Union:
The Federation is an agreement between the Odussia and other nations: the nations participating will have to limit their arsenal depending on the territory, the excess is sold to Odussia that will provide adequate military protection and the construction of military facilities.
On the economic level, the nation will sell 20% - 40% of the resources produced to Odussia in exchange it will cover all the expenses of the construction of railways, power lines, pipelines and administrative buildings.
Once signed documents to join the Federation, you can not go back. This act transformed the joined nation into a semi-vassal nation.
Federation army: 6 mln troops, 700.000 vehicles, 23.000 ships, 13.000 airships.
The Union is something like the UN, where each nation maintains its independence and its own currency, but must give all its troops and all his military buildings to UPAR, but the military and economic protection will be guaranteed. This means that the Union has the most powerful military in the world
This means that if the nation is in financial difficulties can ask for a loan to the Union and it will return with interest, in agreed between the parties.
Every nation has the freedom to come and go whenever it wants, but it will return and/or pay for weapons and structures that the Union has built up in the area.
Union army: 12 mln troops, 1,1 mln vehicles, 15.000 ships, 28.000 airships.
I do not expect anything in return, it's just do it all alone is heavy, the maximum add me among your deviantWATCH if you are interested in my idea.
For explanations, trivia, and more, do not hesitate to ask! Of course, suggestions are welcome!
Nations already taken: Deltain, Tyrely, Svaeland, Verrand, Vellig, Wastlaand, Varian, Radendrof, Otmundmark, Eberalden, Alden, Doralden, Teut, Everihen, Freiland, Kolonia, Hotemia, Hureskia, Odussia, Voronsk District, Engher and Naensk (for plot's needs).

I have not done a detailed discourse about religion, but I can say that there is a conflict between polytheists, monotheists and atheists.

Indecision is the master. As you can see, some nations have cities under the control of the Union or the Federation, which means that they have made a decision.

Oh and I would like Naensk. An island Federation that follows a strict code of isolationism. It has a powerful naval and air force. It tends to stay out of conflicts of other nations but its government has taken in refugees of conquered countries. A Grand Council is the ruling body made up of members of the Military and Diplomatic factions within the Federation. There is an internal strife both outside and inside the government as to end their isolationist ideology. The group outside the government are known as the Phoenix Group and consist of a majority of refugees.

Sorry, but Naensk is already been taken for reasons of plot (the second to last row), but your idea isn't much farm rom my original.
Naensk is a sort of "Priate Nation", is a country in open conflict with the Odussia about who belongs to the Nansk Sea. They haven't started an open conflict, but the openly hostile politics of Naensk aganist the Odussia (such as the reception of political opponents, imperial navy defectors or war refugees and having captured with pirate ships several important battleships and aircraft carriers) make up the tension and the danger of a conflict.
If a conflict broke out, however, the Odussia would be at a disadvantage since it has a limited navy compared to its ground troops, while Naensk possesses a formidable heterogeneity of ships.
Naensk is governed by a Council of the admiralty, where the most important ship captains organize themselves to decide the internal and external policies, and issues regarding education, health, etc. are assigned to certain organizations dependent to the Board.

Now you have to give your nation a flag, a government, a common mentality, foreign policy and domestic policy.
This will define the approach with the population and with other nations.
You choose a Federation nation!
