Sergeant - And what did I know about you shorties? That's why the command gave you these "standard measures" to follow...
Engineer - Ain't never used "standards" in mah life... always by eye 'n by plank, and it always work fine...
Sergeant - It worked fine with your fellows of the hold, here we have Helvers, Kohrs... you don't do "by plank", but by standard meter... Now I want this trench and firing step at least half-meter deeper by evening...
Engineer - Half-meter? By evening? You're nuts? It's half kilometer!
Sergeant - Fine, by tomorrow morning! Now back to work!
