This is a commission for I was asked to redraw the cover to Thunder Lizards. I always liked that drawing so it was fun to go back and revisit this piece. It was also nice to see 5 years later I had made a lot of improvements to my inking style.Related content

I cannot take it anymore, next paycheck I am buying this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my main motivations are feet and the 3 point perspective face.

Oops. I think I used the wrong term for correctly drawing the face in such a way that you see the top front and side at the same time. Most of the time I see someone draw a snout, I see this. I cannot thank you enough! By the way, I ordered a "First Edititon" of Thunder Lizards via my local bookstore... so now I have both books.
I noticed you cleaned up many of those rough sketches. It's awesome to compare the two books. Now I can compare the cover with this. It's fascinating to look at what you decided to change

Thanks! I got the commission at around 10 in the morning and I finished this up at 1 in the morning. I took a break to fix a friend's car, but pretty much this is one day of my life.

bummer. Thunder Lizards got rereleased with a new cover and a couple typos fixed, so you can always get the new improved version!
