Apart from that, great poses and lightning/shadow/colours. I believe even the plain black BG looks awesome, it emphasises the characters more and doesn't distract the viewer

Whooooa I knew something was off. Originally this drawing was flipped but I changed it around and just now I realize that. Interesting how even consciously painting it over I didn't think it much.
I guess I don't really need backgrounds for everything, since I just want the characters to standout in my works. I just thought black would make colorful characters look even brighter. Guess that's what emphasize means
