Description inspired by a lot of things, obviously lovecraft among them. watercolor with ink. i decided to try a loose inking style and it ended up just looking slopy and losing focus. even with photoshop it was hard to put the depth back into it. whatever.

ink as in pen..? or brush..? Seriously though, this is really cool, I really want my art style to go in this same direction.

yeah,I'd love to get my hands on some caligraphy pens and bottled ink along with other things, I really just haven't gotten the chance to go out to the craft store recently.

But that looks really good for just a gel roller!

The lose style is confusing up-close, but when you stand back from it it looks really cool, the tentacles give a great feeling of movement.

Wow, this is really odd and kind of scary! I love the use of the sketchy outline, I love to use that! But here it gives a texture to the image and also makes you unsure of what you are really looking at. Well for me it did because I don't know what a 'R'lyeh Earthworm' is or what 'lovecraft' is!!
I also like the earthy colours used and the effect watercolour gives has really worked well with the subject matter really cool!!

I dont think it looks sloppy at all.
Its looks very free and flowy and almost like you've put no effort into it at all - in a good way!!

I adore squiddy and octopusses and anything with creepy tentacles. Instant fav.

It's... it's amazing.

The details... and the colouring.... I don't understand why this piece of art can be overlooked.

The loose coloring fit this well. Creepy, and beautiful at the same time.

Favouriting this! so more people can see this awesomeness of non-eucleidan worm-thingy-thing!

Ftahgn!
