Request from : a redesign of Godzilla that incorporates a lot of feathers.Basically just a weird Yutyrannus, sorry for that. And yeah, those are supposed to be feathers, not plates along his back. I'd been racking my brain over how to incorporate the spikes as feathers and that's what came out.
Deepest apologies to all Godzilla fans.

well, the first godzilla film was way back in 1954, thats about 39 years before JP was made, and the film where he was shown as a dinosaur was made 2 years before JP, at these time the idea that dinosaurs had feathers was not in the mind of anyone , ether way its no reason Β to give Godzilla feathers , he already made his iconic image as a dinosaur with reptiles treatsΒ

I hope that you do relise that godzilla as a Β character predate even the first JP movie by 39, and that godzillasourus appered in a movie that came in 1991 , 2 years before JP , it was a time where feather on dinosaurs was not in the minds of film makers, Godzilla himself isn't a real dinosaurs , no reason why he should be bond by real world rolesΒ

Actually, I could see this working quite well as the pre-mutation Godzilla. I quite like him. Especially that throat pouch, that kind of thing should be used more often in Godzilla designs.

It's a hybrid of the basic Godzilla design with Yutyrannus, not a full-blooded Yutyrannus. If it was, the tail would be pretty rod-like, as opposed to the curled tail seen here, so it's more Godzilla with a Yutyrannus motif then a Yutyrannus that happens to look like Godzilla.

Awesome work, Stygi, just being a weird Yutyrannus with enlarged feathers adorning it's spine is fine for me. The more unique and still dinosaurian you can make Godzilla, the better, in my book.
