my current delicious ff5:a party. faris (she and the woodland animals are tight) as a ranger, bartz as a cannoneer (
omg), krile as a gladiator (XD), and lenna as an oracle (oh, cliches. oh, predictable)AND THE ENEMIES???? uhhh, shoot, i lost the names. they are actually pretty ridiculous though, if not for appearance then for their...friend choice. most unexpected monster posse ever? probably not - haha, ok then overworld.
ANYWAY, I strooooongly advocate ff5! seriously! fantastic game.

FF5 is the best of the SNES games, and the best old school Final Fantasy. The job system, the length, the sidequest, most everything in it is great. Yeah, the story isn't up to par compared to 4 and 6, but 5 is more about the gameplay, as I see it.

I'm playing through this game right now. I really love how you've captured a commonplace scene of a random encounter. It's really exciting and familiar at the same time.
I'm a total slut for the melee classes. XD If I were playing the GBA version, I would have to master the gladiator.

Great picture! I love the battle-line setup and the monsters are great, as are the job outfits.
"Faris and the forest animals are tight" - haha, for the longest time I had Galuf as a Bard with the !Animals command. He'd sing songs at the enemy and send squirrels after them... he'd have got the biggest kick out of it.

I love FFV!! Unfortunately, I decided to start playing it like right before FFIV DS came out... BAD TIMING DX Because, you know, it's on hold for now, plus I am the SLOWEST GAMER ALIVE so it'll be awhile before I finish either of them -_-;;
My favorite job class in games like this is always monk/ninja. Cuz I love taking the easy way out and beefing up physical powerhouses so that I can consistently kick ass without having to worry about MP! XD When I played FFIII I just left Luneth as that class the entire game and he was like 50x stronger than everyone else, it was ridiculous XD

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, haha XD for some reason i always always go for the physical powerhouses, but this time i just like...am all mages XD i figure since like by the end of the game youre basically a freelancer anyway and can equip anything, so XD good to have magic learned
