Description
Vivec, Almalexia, Sotha Sil.Did you know that Vivec personifies the ambiguity? That we don't even really know if he's a "she" or she's a "he"?
Well, now you know. XD

Vivec is not literally a hermaphrodite; he's a DIVINE hermaphrodite. He looks obviously male, but divinely, he is both genders, or can switch between the two.

Nice one. Vivec's middle name should be "ambiguity"
When I saw him for the first time(as a monument in temple district) I used the levitation spell, trying to "check" what gender it is. "Look like he was supposed to be a man"- I thought.
And when I really saw him, first thing that came to my mind was:
OH MY GOD(S)! AN ALMOST NAKED 2-COLOUR, BALD, SQUINT-EYED TRANSVESTITE!!!
But I totally love this character. And I really missed him while playing Oblivion. As the rest of little perverted jokes from Morrowind.

Ah, yes, Morrowind had some nice perverted jokes... (Aaaah, good ol' Crassius...)
Well the worst part is, with his/her power fading, it appearently leads to the end of Morrowind.

Not at all, it leads only to the fall of the Ghostly Barrier( don't know if I spelled it well, because I simply translated it from my language>_>), and after the fall of the Dagoth Ur (WHYYYYY?! He wasn't so evil at all, he just...gone insane a bit. And AlmSiVi are traitors! ) the Red Mountain isn't a threatment anymore. And after all, Morrowind still have the Nerevarine, their new god-like hero.

Nah, I know that of course. But the end of Vivec's powers ACTUALLY leads to the end of Morrowind. Litteraly.
See the moon upon the city of Vivec? The Tribunal of Justice, or something like that?
Well it was thrown by Sheogorath upon the city because "I don't remember why", and Vivec just stopped or "froze" the moon before it could crash on Morrowind.
But as Vivec losed his powers, the moon finally crashed on Vivec, destroying Morrowind.
...
Yeah, developpers are THAT dumb. F*CK YOU, "The Infernal City" !!!

Heeey, It's not so big to destroy the whole Island. The only ones suffering because of this crash would be the city watch and some Temple members. Maybe some other Vivec inhabitants. But I understand your point.

In Dragonborn, Neloth talks about how they've been rebuilding, but there's a ton of ash in the air 24/7 and the eruption on top of the Oblivion Crisis (and a Black Marsh invasion) it's not going very well.
What I never understood is why Vivec didn't just Force Push the moon away when s/he still had god powers.

I think Vivec had his/her powers strained enough from maintaining the Ghost Gate.

Thanks for pointing this out, but you know... when I wrote this message, Skyrim was not released yet. Now I know how it looks, but in 2010 it was't so clear, since I'm not a prophet, you know xD

If I believe everything that's in the books, Vivec can do this while he's elsewhere himself! Remote sex or so 0.o
