okay this is a rough doodle environment concept which i did, around 1 hr, guess my speeds building up. gotta train more to reach the standards, like hideyoshi's leventep's. and i actually have no idea or reference when i did this. this is to show (lecturer) that we are actually doing something lolRelated content

awesomeness in all ..excellent starting place
though im kinda annoyed at... this speed painting wave thats kicked in.. - its cool to say that something very complex took an hour.. but theres something to be said for .. works of art that take weeks..and months to complete .. even w/ photoshop or Painter IX

thanks, this was done out of inpulse actually, me and my friend are still thinking of an idea for our concept pitch for a short 2d/3d film

It's great - maybe a tip would be for you to improve on how distance affects colors? This may improve the sense of scale of the environment, and give a more realistic feel?
Also, the center has this pathway thing that just kills the perspective/eye direction of this painting - it like cuts through the whole painting, maybe all the elements should work lead to the hazy distance so the work would look more harmonious...
Anyway, just my two cents!

Nice speed painting, there's a lot of potential here. I'd love to see a more meticulous and detailed work like this from you. Also, I recommend experimenting with different or perhaps more personal content, though sci-fi is a fun place to start I'm sure.
