Description
Twist it inDeeper
Prod and push until consistency
Runs down the side of its neck
Spills sweet water around the curves of its bosom
Slides in Silken persistence along the rounds of the thighs
The mold of the calf
And finally pools in a narcissistic mirror of scarlet rhythms between the toes
Pull it out
Faster
Wipe and clean until you can forget your arrogance
Imbibe your guilt like a priest
Still clinging to the alter boys robes
Toss your flat edged catheter to the floor in denial
Metal on Metal
Hear the glass door slide
Dart out through columns of splintered intent
But before you leave
Tell me again
How you always loved me.

Have you been reading lately, or what else is it that finds you so inspired? In your 'preface' you explained how you detest betrayal of the heart. I wonder then what you perceive of me. Do you think it forgiveable to betray one love in effort to save another?

I think most of us are guilty of that type of deception.
I know I am. And I have a hard time forgiving myself to this day, it's a terrible thing to do, once it's been done to you , you understand the depth of the wound you've inflicted on others.
I think we deserve the guilt we suffer.
When it comes to the heart the truth can wound you, it can hurt for a long time, but betrayal by someone you love and trust will scar you for life, it's something I try to remember.
