Obviously you can't go to work on the subway dressed like this cause is not practical and is not accepted, but if you really love it, as you have free time or a special occasion, you will put it on.
That is why being a "weekend Lolita" is not bad. Few people can afford to have a cupboard so stocked as to have Lolita clothes for every day !
