Just great, why do people alwasy have to drag genres like 'darkart' kicking and screaming into the mainstream. And as Disintigration mentioned, when did dark art ever revolve around texture and blend modes? What about themes, context, symbolism and creativity. If you want to work with intructions, learn to cook, otherwise don't perpetuate bad mainstream 'darkart'. I can apreciate you motives, and i don't fault you for this but please just keep i mind that what you are doing removing any need for explorations and creativity. How many faces do you think we will see in the near future covered in abusive facial textures? I don't know......but some how i imagine that as everyone else here you are just as cought up in the popularity contest.

I wish to end on a somwhat positive note by saing good job, great effort, and please end you line of tutorials here, thanks you.

I understand where you`re coming from, but remember if you read about painting a picture doesn`t meen you can. This is a tutorial about understanding how Adobe photoshop works. If a person deserves to be recognized as a dark artist or not is something you as a person have to decide for yourself. This tutorial is not ment as an instant artist tutorial. Exploration and creativity is something you`ll allwas need even after reading tutorials. And as far as the faces covered in abusive facial textures goes, if you don`t like em, don`t look at them.

Wow, very cool! Certainly a time-saving alternative to painstakingly drawing every tiny detail. I especially liked the way you put the cracked paint texture on her skin. That really added a lot; I never would have thought of that.

this is one of the most gorgeous tutorials i have yet seen.
how lovely and helpful of you to share this with us (namely me! )
i especially enjoy how you stumbled over something as inventive as using the coral and cracked paint!
not to mention the thought you put in making the tutorial itself look so good! such attention to the overall and detail at same time

now all i need is a computer to try this out on! you made my creativity itch for release!

i give this tutorial six out of six stars for overall, helpfullity and generally, your skill of beauty!
