enjoyThis is a tutorial on making changing and creating BEAUTIFUL eyecolor! It is in Adobe .PDF format.
It is specially designed for Newbies - Intermediate users of Photoshop 6-CS versions. The techinique illustrated is special and i feel that even the most Advanced users of Photoshop will learn something from it. I took 3 days to make it, excuse the file size, i've included step by step Screenshots in good quality as i've went along.

I tried to apply your tutorial as much as possible on the practice image. Here is my outcome:

I did some extra things, such as giving the veins in the eye their colors back.
My actual goal was to create a bit of a Vampiric eye, I think I could do better but for a first try?

I just had to comment on this. I have tried several tutorials and found this one to be the best with the most natural and amazing outcome. I used your practice image and instead of doing blue, I tried for green and enhanced hazel and both came out amazing!!! I have Gimp so I had to kind of "convert" some of the steps but the outcome was fabulous. From this tutorial I even learned how to apply levels with channels which is something new for me! Who knew! I intend to work on a photomanipulation and will be using this tutorial. I will, of course, credit you when I am done! Amazing tutorial and well done!!!

Does this only work for brown eyes? Or can it work on black eyes as well? Cause when I try to use dodge on black eyes it turns out funny @.@

thank you so much for this(I had faved it long ago but only now been able to sit and go through my tutorials) This tutorial is one of the best I've seen yet. The screencaps were great, the explanations very precise and to the point. No over doing of chit chat. It was VERY easy to follow. It also helped me understand how some tools can work-I'm an eye lover myself-this will definitely help.(I don't photomanip) but it will still be very useful on personal arts besides just eyes. Thank you so much for this-it was wonderful

Thanks for making that! It helped me out a lot. I also have what you could call an obsession for eyes. I have already made some eyes just kind of messing around with that technique and they turned out pretty good for a beginner.
