Saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters and had a lot of fun! They gave the monsters more personality this time around, so it was cool seeing them interact. So I'm blowing the dust off of my "make these things into humans" part of my brain to do a humanized version of Godzilla and Mothra. If you've seen the movie, you know what's going on here. T^T
Really happy with how they turned out, particularly Godzilla. I've seen a handful of people drawing him as a skinny little pretty boy, but Godzilla is the definition of THICCCCCCCC and literally only gets out of bed to pick a fight! You can't really tell the size difference at this angle/pose, but believe me, it's there. lol
Also did this on 's iPad, so that was fun. I'm still working on the same tablet I first bought in 2008, and have been debating on changing hardware for a while.

This quite an interesting drawing. I really like the colours on Mothra's wings and her eyes, like she's glowing. Godzilla, the way he's drawn, does remind me a little bit of Logan from X-Men.

When Mothra climbed onto him, it felt like she was snuggling him, comforting him. Then she was all like "NOBODY DOES THAT TO MY GOJI!!!"

Thank you ^_^ It was a lot of fun to play around with my friends iPad! It was kind of addicting in hindsight. Now my own setup feels so clunky. DX it just really nice being able to use a pen right on what I'm working on, instead of the usual hand/eye coordination gymnastics I have to do now.
In all honesty, Mothra's wings were kind of half-assed with the textured brush in Clip. lol
As much as I've enjoyed working on LRW, it's been nice playing around with some random shit.

Agreed! I have a friend who's a massive Godzilla nerd, and it sounds like they've teamed up a few times before. I know it won't be the same one, but I'm hoping that one of her daughters hatch in time for the next movie XD
