I don't even know where to start with this. Not only are dark, minimally lighted compositions hard to pull off, they're a pain in the ass. This is FLAWLESSLY executed. I love the mysterious feel and mood to it, almost as if the viewer has found something. The rhythm is apparent here, it moves you around the top layer of leaves and down to the next, and down to the next. The colors are absolutely perfect, not the bright green we're all accustomed to seeing but a deep forest green, which is an original change. Nonetheless, the viewer immediately recognizes this as a marijuana plant. A smoking bong faded into the background illuminated by soft light (candle lighting perhaps?) would be a nice touch and go along with the soft red background you have now, but it might take away the emphasis. Just a thought.
All in all this is a beautiful, beautiful composition. Technical skill here is apparent, this is well thought out and extremely original, I haven't seen many original, well executed photographs with this subject matter. Well done.
