Kind of makes me miss this one torbie I used to have. Her name was Spot. Not only was she a good pet, she was a natural mouser, too. But mostly, a good friend.

I still miss my last cat, a rather mean tomcat named Snowball. For some reason, I was the ONE person in the house he decided to bond with. He behaved fairly well with my beagle, Charlie, though. He picked on Charlie sometimes, but the two would actually play together once in a while. Unfortunately, Snowball somehow got out of the house and disappeared around the same time our alcoholic landlady kicked us out, so it was a doubly negative memory. I still miss Snowball, though.

It's been years since it happened. Most people don't understand it, but I really do miss Snowball. Mean kitties need love too, you know.

Yeah, I really do understand that. My friend has cat who didn't like to be petted much and looked very grumpy, but then I saw that he actually does like the occasional scratch on the chin.

Yeah. Snowball disliked my younger brother most of the time, but he would on occasion like to use Will's shoulder as a perch. Also, sometimes when I woke up before everyone else, Snowball and I would just sit on the couch together and watch TV. He didn't even need to be on my lap. He'd just sit down on the couch with me, just chillin' in the quiet hours of the morning.
