so yeah. this is a girl. I can't draw hairbands so her hair is going to stay like that in a supernatural way.lol I can't draw boobs for crap... the point was supposed to be that they're small enough to like. not make curves on the side of her body... but then that gave me the trouble of defining them some other way. oh well. I don't have boobs so whatever, right? not that I don't want boobs. being a girl for a day would be sweet. I'm not a perv. I'm not!

I'll TRY to color this, but in the meantime-- leave me come comments and stuff... and wait patiently... and make fun of her boobs.

proportionaly speaking, i dont think she's quite right. a woman's breasts dont hang that far down her chest. move them up.
if barbie was a real woman, she would crawl on her hands and knees. so would this girl. her body is too long. she's too thin and she needs ot have more fat on her body. women, apart from men, have more fat on their bodies, so they are more curvy, even tall women. that is why when men are drawn in peak physical perfection, they have more angles because they have less fat.
her hips are also too far down her body. mostly, she's just too long. women are genreally 6-7 heads tall. you've put her into greek proportions. if you dont understand what that means, ask your art teacher. they will probbably explain it better than i.

the boobs look pretty ok, seriously. what grabbed my attention was that her legs were curved in a kind of unnatural way... but the expression is spot on!

Her eyelid is touching her eyebrow and her ears are way too high. Her arms are attached to her body funny -maybe her shoulders are a bit too narrow I dunno it just doesn't look right lol and I know she's pulling them behind her... (YOU HAND HIDER YOU) The underarm line thingies are probably just a little too high- and not only is her collarbone visible through her hair like you mentioned, but it is also shaped weird. xD; Her left boob (the one on the right of the picture) is missing. xDDD The other one actually looks pretty okay, it might be a little bigger than you were going for, but yeah, the left one is gone. |D; Maybe look at some reference pictures? Lol... It also helps to draw a few reference lines that show how the body looks beneath the clothing, though you do get some funny looks. xDD;; In fact, I draw all of my people completely naked at first and then add clothes... But that's just me... >> Her thighs are srsly bent. Srsly. |DD; It looks like she has a calcium deficiency. Lol, man, I'm sorry, but with that crazy contrapposto you've got going there, you're going to have to put some space between her knees. Thighs are mostly straight in healthy human beings. P: Also take care to make them the same length, the knees aren't going to be level, but you knew that. Her waist (the part where her torso is the least wide around) looks like it hurts. D; Looooool, I didn't want to say it, but that part of her is borderline anorexic. |D;; Look at some ref pics, plz. I know you're not exactly going for realism here, but srsly, OW. Looking at that hurts. Dx
Other than that, GOOD JOB. :B I like her hair and I'm excited to see how the color goes. Is it purple or green? Tell me it's purple or greeeen... x] Also her shorts are spiff-tastic, except for this one fold on the right. Loooool. P:

believe it or not, but I totally did use a reference for this drawing. I like, posed this 3D model and everything this way and drew from there. but there was some stuff I changed, like, I'm a closet skinny-chick lover so I just had to make her skinnier than the reference, and man-shoulders turn me off, so I had to fix those... and I did draw her naked too-- nipple placement provided no help with boob placement, which was awkward because in the 3D, there was shading and stuff to distinguish the boob's shape, but no such thing here! had to use creative shirt wrinkles... and failed epically. epicly. epicaly.
yeeeeah I guess her thighs are bent. funny thing though, I was lying down in the shower (cuz that's what I do) and I was looking at my legs and I was like "is it just me or are my thighs banana shaped when I put my knees together?" so yeah, if anyone's thighs are curvy, it's mine, which is odd because I am a boy and boys are typically straight (lol in both ways ((which makes me sound gay, also lol))(((not there's anything wrong with that)))).
I have a very strong weakness to drawing anorexic chicks-- I drew this one girl like, today, and I was like "even though this might be my best girl, she's still effing anor-lemic". and I'm not good at drawing them at typical girl heights. but my people are generally too tall anyway, so it's kinda okay...
I'm sorry to say but I think I've abandoned this girl. after looking at her carefully, she's not THAT good... it's a shame though, I wanted to color her. and yeah, her hair us purple. =]
