Taken at the Del Cerro park hill top in Palos Verdes, California. I like how some people made a reference to "Silent Hill".. when in reality, it truly was. This is my place of solitude where I usually find myself camping from 1am in the morning till dawn. this is where I come to escape.Related content

wonderful shot. it really gives you a feeling of isolation or solitude. Reminds me of Wed. night when i had to drive home in really thick fog. very frigtening not being able to see 2 feet infront of you. You captured that same feeling i had in this shot.. i felt it as soon as i looked at it. Reall brilliant work!

I love the shot. I love the whole composition. And the color or should i say lack of color rocks. Grainines adds to the coolnes.
add at least a 1px frame. It woould make it perfect then.

Personally I believe that there is much better work out there in the vastness of DA. I dont mean to hurt your feelings or anything, your image shows great symbolism, but I dont think its worth the honor of Daily Deviation.

very nice work, it would almost be great even withut the figure in the fog. there's something captivating about the foggyness itself. there's such an elegant transition between the whit at the top and the black at the bottom... the figure there almost becomes secondary in my mind.
which is great, as it ties in with the title.. showing that the person is lost in something.
