After Steve was able to stop the suplex barrage, Ryan tried to outwrestle The Golden One. Much to his surprise, Steve's training was paying off and he was getting better still. Ryan attempted to apply a gogoplata, but Steve lucked out and slipped through his grasp. The next thing Ryan knew, his thick thighs were locked tightly around Steve's and he was flipped over into an excruciating Sharpshooter. Ryan fought for the ropes, but Steve had practiced and perfected his application of the hold. Unable to take the intense torque on his back, Ryan submitted. Steve was shocked by his victory, but winning was becoming more and more familiar to him. Grabbing a mic, he called out RJ Coleman - the new All-Stars champion, and challenged him to a match at the Pay Per View the next day. RJ was not in the building, but the announcer confirmed that the SFC board of directors was granting Steve his request and he would be facing RJ with the belt on the line.
