As Joel looked around for Dan, the champion surprised him from behind with a fierce low blow. Joel crumpled to the mat in intense pain. Dan seized the opportunity to snatch Joel up into his signature bearhug. The exhausted challenger groaned as Dan squeezed the air and energy from his sweat drenched lean body, yelling at him to tap out. The former soldier wasn't going to give him the satisfaction this time. Nonetheless, in short order, Dan felt the athletic fighter slump into his grip, falling limply against his own mighty bare chest. The referee ruled Joel unconscious and award the fight and the title retention to Dan.
